    Hey All,

I saw this this AM on CNN - talk about bad luck - a spring from a car (his teammate?) in front hitting his helmet hard enough to apparently fracture his skull... hitting the wall was probably not that bad compared to the spring - man - I hope he recovers well.

Being somewhat facetious maybe F1 needs to smarten up - put fenders on and windshields in front call themselves NASCAR Europe and go on racing!

My heroes have always been cowboys and they all carried guns-
and they all rode horses-that is all but one.
When he went to the rescue he flew a Cessna plane.
His ranch was called the "Flying Crown" and "Sky King" was his name. -Jim Dilly-

The rich man writes the book of laws that the poor man must defend, but the highest laws are written on the hearts of honest men. - Ricky Skaggs-

Don't know about fenders ed. They can't get those wheel fairing things on without braking a wheel off....(Alonso).

The spring was from Rubens (Brawn GP).
Here is a video which shows everything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MgVjMkKx5U&fmt=22

He was unconscious after he was hit by the spring and he was standing on the throttle and brake.
There will be always a risk, no matter what they do and something like that is very unlikely. It's only scary that it happened one week after the tragical death of Surtees.

    Massa will race again: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/77411
And Michael Schumacher will replace Massa, probably for the rest of the season: http://www.michael-schumacher.de/?pa...=82078&lang=uk
I'm very happy about that because it shows the greatness of Michael once more (he has also had a heavy accident and he hasn't practiced much with the Ferrari)
