Very nice bird, but I'm having problems apparently with the contact points (of which I know nothing). At the start, the aircraft is about 5-10 feet above the tarmac/runway. My default aircraft always starts paused so when I hit the 'P' button, the Piaggio drops to the ground with a resultant crash.

Please, advice, hints, suggestions to cure the problem. I really like the aircraft and want to enjoy flying her.

A quick hint would be slew to the ground with F1 before un-pausing.

Bob, I tweaked the contact points and static C/G angle and height. Try the attached file, just rename it "aircraft.cfg" and replace the original Piaggio cfg. This should eliminate the plane smacking the deck on start-up.
