    Question A-22

    Hey guys,

Only thing this airplane lacked was a float/amphib version. . .despite that, I still rank the A-22 as one of the best Ultralights for FS9/FSX, especially for freeware and a great tribute to it's designer, Rick Piper.

I remember being totally in awe of the VC when it first came out. I just wanted to reach out and touch it as it was so lifelike.

It is my default aircraft in FS2004. The A-22 is called the "Valor" in the US and comes with two control yokes rather than the single Y-yoke in the Foxbat.

Thanks for the link again flyboy, I did not have the FSX version. There is none with a US register, so think I may have to change that.

No need for a paint kit for this easy job Smoothie, but one would be most welcomed when you finish it. I did the textures for both FS9 and FSX. Go here for screenshots:

Brand new somewhere in the $150,000. range QC. Have seen them listed at $99,000. Too much for my meager earnings, that's why I have flight sims.

just a quick tip for this plane (the Sim version)...if you put 0 as the weight for the wheel pants, they won't show up What a neat feature...wish more planes would use Weight to hide/unhide things....
