    Framerates ok, but frames...

    Hello, this is my first post, hope it works..

    I got a problem with tiny white "frames" at the edge of the screen, which
    appear only while flying some planes, to get rid of them I have to shot down FSX and start again. I think it has something to do with the panel,
    in FS9 these frames are sometimes visble in 2Dpanel sight.
    Tims bronco was cured by a sacrilegue: I put in the panelfolder of Danny
    Garniers pseudofsx version, sorry, but it helped!
    As far as I can see there are two planes left which show the "framing":
    alpasims Heinkel HE111 and
    Martin Mars.
    -can I delete 2D panels, how and would make this any sence?
    -should I use the panelfolders of the FS9 versions, but how then with fullscreen?
    -or something completely different?
    Any help would be much apretiatet, no sreenshot,you can`t see the frames here...

    Welcome to SOH

    Im not sure I know what you mean. I am familiar with many quirks but have never heard of "white frames" before.

    Can you do a screen shot of the phenomena?

    I suspect your problem is related to the default view entry in the panel.cfg file.

    It looks like this:

    [Default View]
    X=0
    Y=0
    SIZE_X=8192
    SIZE_Y=3200
    You mights try getting that entry from a model that the problem doesn't occur on, and paste it over the same entry in one that does have problem, reload FSX and see if helps.

    Back up the panel.cfg file before you start in case you mess it up.

    Otherwise, if you are using a flat panel monitor, is it possible that it's just the backlight bleeding throught the edge of the screen? My GF's monitor does that and it drives me nuts...

    "Frame"problem solved

    Thanks everybody for your help!
    JSpal, I changed the panelcfg according to your suggestions and got a
    typical divided screen when porting a some fs9 planes to FSX: upper half
    the flat sqeezed Martin Mars and under half ,no not black as it should be,
    but black with bright shining wavy segments...
    Bright... hey perhaps I should take out that russian bloom (enb serias).
    It´s apitty, that`s the solution,I have such great graffical quality and drama with it. May be I just take it out when flying Mars...

    I get the same faint white border around the whole screen infrequently. To cure it, I press "Escape" key, and then "Continue Flying".

    Cheers
