    Release - FSHeli Lama

Not really a bunch of fling-wing fans here, are you?

The Lama for FSX has been available at simMarket since I fell out of bed this morning. It's a 100%, gold-plated, no-brainer.

    Buy, fly, enjoy!

Loadsa fun, very realistic, cost is a bit more, but worth it for the many options, extra scenery-lets and above all the accuracy of the flight model and systems. I love it! So will all rotorheads...
Greetings from Chris Brisland a.k.a. "Eagleskinner" a.k.a. "Dances with brushes" a.k.a. "Old One-Eye". I've not come unravelled yet and I am painting again.

My paints can now be found on my website

I actually saw this last night. I havent been online much of late so didnt realize it was "new" :isadizzy:

I am a certifiable heli nut but the Lama has never grabbed me. I will probably pick this up out of curiosity alone
    Regards, Bob

Definitely not very much "rotorhead" orientation here then...

I love it however I find it's start up behaviour rather erratic. I can't get the starter switch to work. And it start from itself when I touch my throttle at the CH TQ

What happened to the 'odd head shape' queries of Jeansy and me? The crew look rather 'puppet like' in FS9 and we wondered if they have changed them? I am sure I posted on this thread....or maybe I have been in the sun too long!

I have bought every sim heli out. The Lama besides being the dumbest name ever for a heli, just isnt seen in the US that much. I understand its a fine high altitude machine but its just doesnt appeal to me. Its been out like what, 20 years it seems on Simmarket and I considered it when I flew FS9 but the price was always just a little too much.

If I ever need to lift a Yeti I will keep the Lama in mind.

Yikes, this one 'rather obscure' helo is a whopping 387 meg download, it would take me a week to get that. Shame as I was tempted too.

They remind me of the offspring of a cell phone tower and a dragonfly, lol, but they are one rugged helo.:ernae:

    LOL @ CBris

It sure does look like a pretty cool machine.

How about some more cool screenshots.

Is there somewhere I can find the coordinates for the cabins? I have only found 1 above Zermatt near the observatory.I wish they would have made them into airports. I guess I'll get back to searching...

Well... if you check the diagram in the manual, you can see where the huts are supposed to be and then if you approach them in sim, you will see them well enough.

Just like in the real world
