    Hi Mike
As so often your presumption is correct. The aircraft is named Oleg Antonov in honour of the (now) Ukrainian designer. Although at the time of birth (1985) she had the Soviet Union nationality when L.F. Matenyak completed his aircraft. Engine is a 105hp Walter Mikron-4

Thanks Walter ( a modest knowledge of what my old pal calls Acrylic Script comes in handy !)
    It's aggy time - here's a messy-looking one....

    Hi Mike
Is this beauty related to the Polish PZL-106 Kruk?

  4. #17029
Indeed, Walter - a modified version of the Kruk, sent for testing in the good ol' USSR. This from a Czech book, so it's an Eastern bloc mishmash !

Thank you Mike. Does she have a name/designation in Acrylic of Czech?
My next challenge is a high wing canard cabin pusher floatplane.

That hits just about all the bases. Now you just need to edit the pic to make it "Moses-grainy"

I found it as "Floatplane version of the NLA FT-300 three-seat lightplane" from China. First flight with floats in November 1994.

That might be the Reppert T-Aero, according to its description at aerofiles.

Couldn't find a photo of it...

  11. #17036

    Thanks, Uli!
Interesting and probably rather simple retracting mechanism. Wondering about the source of the photo, information about the Reppert in the WWW is close to nil...

Here is another light plane, sorry for the grainy pic.

Robert, here's the only available info, courtesy of Jane's...(probably shouldn't be posting this, but.....WTH !)

    Many thanks, Mike, much appreciated!

Looks like Robert has a little Farman tourer, the F-355.

  16. #17041
You got it, Kevin, it is the Farman

    Over to Texas.

  17. #17042
    Thanks Robert.

Here is a contemporary of the Farman. I know srgalahad will appreciate the extra grain.

This was of metal construction with an Anzani radial.

  19. #17044
It was flown in Paris around 1927 or 1928. A one-off not found in Aviafrance.

  20. #17045
Okay, this is the generically named Petit Avion from M.R. Vincent. It was a solid first effort but not sure if he had a hand in any designs later on.

Thought pomme homme might be wise to this one as he likes these types usually.

    Open board then-

  21. #17046
Apologies, Kevin. Yes, it's the sort of avionette that is right up my street and whilst I noted that you'd posted it I didn't, due to unfortunately irrestible demands on my time of late, have the opportunity to trawl Les Ailes of 1927/28 in search of an identity for it.

It looks as if with the good weather in Western Europe, everyone has gone on holiday! Anyhow, here's something which should appeal to lefty as it was flatpack by design!

My first thought was Hurel-Dubois HD.10, but that isn't her, too short wings and only a single fin to name just some of the most obvious differences.

    How about the Morane-Saulnier MS.661?

    Morane-Saulnier MS.661 (F-WCDY) will do nicely!
