Had I posted the whole airframe, it would have lasted five minutes.

    Over to Chris.

PS: Does anyone have another photo of the 80? I just know of the two posted here.

Not much curves in this one.

It's been so quiet in here...

Sporty, sharp ( the paint, not the pic).
Not a one-off; in fact the genesis of a long list of types from multiple builders

That is the Bolte LW-2, precursor of the Kinner Sportster.

    It is indeed.
"Production continued in 1933 at Kinner's new Security-National Corp as Security S-1 Airster. Design was also adopted in 1940 as Call-Air."

Here is an ultralight aircraft that flew before the term was invented.

A European one-off, the country of origin is not among the usual suspects.

Its bigger brother has been seen here recently.
First flight of both was 1937.

... with her bigger brother in the background and at least two more SAI planes on the photo

Thank you, Robert. Considering how slowly my computer was working this morning, I'm surprised that I beat Uli to this one. I can only assume that I hit the 'post' icon at about 11:12!

My research suggests that the next offering hasn't appeared here before. But for the avoidance of doubt, I'm referring to the aeroplane on the right hand side of the photograph below - although that on the left hand side might offer a clue.

The Jamme J3 from Algeria ?

  21. #22771
I have it as the Jamme J-2. But as the J-3 apparently shared a fuselage with the J-2 your answer, Jim, is good enough for me. Take it away!
