Absolutely correct, Mike!
A rather untypical design from the Bellanca factory.
Over to Scotland.

Thank you, Robert. Another floater......
An SPCA .....
SPCA ? Isn't that an animal charity ??
Morning all - one final clue - while this may not be an SPCA job, its makers are also known by initials. In Roman letters.....
OK, that's enough. It's the C.N.A. Eta, from the 1930's. Carlo, where art thou ?? OH, please.
Hello Mike!
I must confess that my thoughts were a bit distracted over the last few days because I made a short trip to Rome to enjoy my granddaughter who just graduated in nursing sciences with an excellent record of a beautiful 110 "cum laude"
(the best of her course ) but I promise that I shall be more diligent in the near future if..if...
Cheers
Carlo
Light sport reportedly only built in 2 examples (I have been told). Know of 2 registrations.
As answer two names/designations are accepted. I am very interested to find ourt in what engine is in the subect aircraft.
It's white (surprise, surprise...), it's plastic, it has an opaque canopy, no wheels, and a prop that seems to be an afterthought, at a weird angle. We await with interest, Walter......
Hi Mike
Maybe that is why she is on poles?? (BTW in front of the manufacturer`s factory)
The same aircraft, albeit with different nose, in more natural surroundings. I left the clue in.
Offer still stands. Two names/designations acceptable.
Don't know what your 'clue' is, Walter. That engine installation makes it look very motor-glidery. Can we assume it is European ?
Hi Mike
Sorry, not European. The clue about her birthplace is the one-of low wing taildragger parked behind.
Wingspan some 35ft and I understand she was advertised as a JAR/VLA at the time.
Think Australia!
That clue was worth gold!
It is the Buchanan BAC-204 Mosquito alias Ozzie Mozzie currently registered as VH-MOS and VH-OZE before.
Hi fabulousfour
That is the one! Understand the project started as the CADAM (Composite Aircraft Design And Manufacture) Mosquito. The aircraft in both pictures I submitted is VH-OZI and on both photos the aircraft carries markings/advertising as the CADAM Mosquito. It seems that Buchanan Aircraft Corporation goty involved and that a second aircraft was then built as VH-OZE (BAC-204, Ozzie Mozzie) with a much recontoured and longer nose (Rotax 912 engine).
I still did not find details on what engine was in VH-OZI with the short nose. Anyone???
Here is the original photo of VH-OZI on the poles, in front of the Buchanan Aircraft Corporation plant, but still marked as the CADAM Mosquito. .
Your turn please!
I wonder, whether the designer of the original Mosquito had a bad day when he designed the nose of that plane...
Back to something older again, sorry for the grainy picture.
Carlo, you are in the right track, but it is not the Ca.97.
Only one or two of this plane were built, depending on the source.
Thanks to our Tuscan friend, I found the Ca.105. Robert, please let Carlo proceed with the next one !
Thanks Mike!
I also looked into the Ca105 (only two of them were built I-ABCE and I-FOCO) however the pic in my possession shows a rather different wing but the large dorsal fin was a giveaway and I didn't pay attention to that detail!
I will submit shortly a new mystery….
Cheers
Carlo
Oh, heavens. No SPCA obscurities yet, then!
Good teamwork, it is indeed the Ca.105
So a pint for Mike and half a pint for Carlo for putting Mike on the right track.
If he likes, over to Carlo.

Thanks to all of you!
I don't think that the above was shown here till now….
Cheers
Carlo
No takers yet? Maybe it will help to know that the man at the controls is Prince Cantacuzino (from Romania)…
Cheers
Carlo
