    Hi Carlo
Sorry, not Russian, but a good guess anyway view the unusual lines.
She is from the New World (not USA). Built as amphibian. but I understand that she only flew as land plane with the u/c in fixed position.
Lycoming O-320 engine and first flight 1984.

    Hi Chris!
This one seems to me rather obscure...it has a certain likeness to the Vickers Vespa and to a certain turkish craft which I can't locate now….unless she's a creation of the New World
    Cheers

    Hi giruXX
Could this be the Kjolseth (Kjølseth) X2 (PK X2) from Norway, a design of Lt.Col. Paul Kjolseth of the Royal Norwegian AF?

  15. #19415
Yes of course, this is the Kjeller PK X-2

Thank you giruXX. Any idea why the name/designation Kjeller is used (also for the earlier PKX1 piston engine heli)?

For next challenge the jury accepts 2 names/designations (the aircraft apparently had 2, before and after modifications were made).

Haven't a clue about Mike's parasol banana - must be French though ?

(has to be from EU - it's a regulation straight banana.....)

Hi Mike . You are correct, the banana is from France.
She is the other one by the same designer. That info should help.

  24. #19424
Oh, with a nose like that, Mike, I thought that you were going to guess at it being a hitherto unknown version of the Piel CP.10!

Walter evidently knows what it is but is being inscrutable!

  25. #19425
I wonder why it took Maurice thirteen years to come up with his next creation - which was a much more modern, sophisticated affair, of which two thirds of those constructed are still active.
