Okey dokey. The LH rabbit hole was deeper than I thought.

Staying with the low wing monoplane theme.

Well that wing planform and those tail surfaces are unmistakeably those of the Westland Wyvern, that looks like an early Eagle engined aircraft. And a quick look at my 4+ Publications book on the Wyvern identifies that as the first prototype, TS371.

Is it the Polish EM-11C Orca?

  12. #25162
That's the one Marganski and Myslowski EM-11C Orka

    The baton passes to you.

    Thank you, Chris.

Now we had a very interesting debate, not many years ago, that mentioned the aeroplane illustrated below but, as far as I can see, it has not hitherto featured as a challenge here. So over to the few individuals who now seem to be participating in this little piece of innocent fun .....

A French machine - and as, quite evidently, it is not powered by a ramjet, it must be the handiwork of the other .....

..... and the baton returns to you, Chris (where have all the others gone?)

It is the Léduc RL-2, the second design of the other René Léduc, of the pays nantaise, whose metier was light, rather than jet, aircraft.

    Nice low wing sport aircraft

Damn, I knew I'd do something wrong!

But, no, it is a real aircraft, albeit only ever flown remotely. If it helps any, it is of European origin and dates from the early '70s.

It looks like SNECMA may have had a hand in it somewhere.
