Not sure the designation but I have it as the Gribovsky Trainer circa 1937.

Edit: Maybe the G-22?

2. #21427
Indeed, it is the Gribovski G-22 under construction.

Here is the unretouched photo.

She is the Moonshiner by Mr. Bill Meadowcroft. The earlier 2-seater was the MC-1 Chinook, both registered N2897D.
Aerofiles, surprisingly, does not know for sure whether the name was Meadowcroft or Meadowbrook.

Open House, please

Morning Robert. That looks like the Gil-Pazo GP-2 Especial ?

24. #21449
A belated good morning, Mike
Tried the whole morning to get into the forum without success.

It is indeed the Gil-Pazo GP Especial from Spain, the single seat conversion of the GP 2.
You have a good nose, Mike, photos of this special bird seem to be rare!

Enjoy your pint!

Remembered the 'trousers' from my Spanish Civil War book.....
Wouldn't fancy flying that to Africa - noisy and pretty uncomfortable, methinks !

Here's a twin bipe -
