Hey Carlo ! You are on the ball with the Spanish lady....
I see they have had snow in Rome - what's happening in Tuscany ?
Thanks Lefty well fortunately no snow at all in the major tuscan cities Florence, Siena, Arezzo etc although all surrounding Hills are blanketed with snow however it is bitterly cold....in the early morning today.... it was minus 10!
I'll submit a new mystery in the afternoon however if somebody wants to step in he is more than welcome.
By the way Lefty looking at your #16762 shouldn't she be a Berliner Joyce XOJ-1 with ZAP flaps?
Cheers
Carlo
I know this is an easy subject but the pic is so nice!

Carlo
Thanks Carlo.
This one might pass as a work of art but it did fly.
I found this as “the Landeroin et Robert 1914 entry for the Concours de Securite”

With a 70hp Le Rhone radial as well. Right on Uli.
It flew 104 years ago. Think about that!
that's impressive (but it also means that we are getting older)
I am not sure but I hope this one is new here:

Thanks Uli. Here's a biplane which should not cause too much pain....
Well spotted, Chris. This is a slightly unusual version with NACA cowl and wheel spats. Over to you -
OK Chris, I'll have a stab. It looks like one of the Jenny long-wings, but what all that clobber is up front, I know not. Are those radiators ??
Not a Curtiss Jenny or variation not sure about anything on the aircraft but that what it looks like.
Chris
Not sure but this kite could be a Standard H-3 with a special type of radiator.
you can be sure, see here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/F...-_17341645.jpg

Standard H-3 it is. Over to you.
Chris
Another biplane, I guess this shouldn't be a big problem for the expertise here.
It is the unlucky Caspar which was lost later on in India in an attempt to reach America.
Over to you, Kevin
