Stillcan't find a reference to that glider anywhere - just that the skid looked the same, cockpit too.
I feel in a naughty mood. A wee cheat here........:icon_twi:
Been busy with photoshop Mike..?
Looks like the proposed but never built Helio H-634 Twin Stallion.
Intel i9-13900 Raptor Lake , Be Quiet! Dark rock slim cooler, 32 Gb Corsair DDR5 RAM, MSI Z790 Tomahawk motherboard, Asus RTX 4060Ti 16Gb, Thermaltake 1050 Watt PSU, Windows 11 64-bit 1 m2, 4 SSD, 2 HDD.
That's how it showed in Jane's !
Over to you, Ferry
The tail portion gave it away as it looks like it's smaller Sibling, the Courier. The engine arrangement looks like the Dornier Skyservant though. The Twin Stallion was designed around two turboprops according to my source but the engine housings in your photo look more like they hold a flat four or six engine.
Here's an early jet:

Thanks!
Here is one of the passenger variety-
These look very much like Walter engines - I suspect it is another Transylvanian horror from the Moses dungeons.
How about Radu Manicatide's MR-2 ? There seems to be something very similar in the shape of the I.A.R. 814, maybe you can enlighten us as to the connection ???
According to the Romanian Wikipedia it seems he designed both aircraft, the MR-2 being derived from the IAR 814.

This one is the Manicatide MR-2. Spot on Mike.
Right, and I'm off to the pub before I get trampled in the rush, for this is a nice easy floater.
Moses03, thanks for the very nice photo of the MR-2.
Lefty, the IAR-814 was sort of prototype for the MR-2and flew in 1953. As you can see in attached pic, the cabin window arrangement was quite different (more and larger windows)than on the MR-2 (flown 1956). The IAR-814 also had full-span ailerons (see the smaller ones in Moses03' pic) and the nose/window contours were also slight different. BTW, the sole IAR-814 made a non-stop (FAI record at the time in 1961) flight of 4.4623.8km in 20hours 41 minutes.
Sorry for interrupting the forum
A long shot The sole Nord NC-856H ?
I think you got it Wout. I was off looking for a Canadian job here.
While we wait for Wout to resurface, here is one to ponder...
Looks very familiar. Have seen it before, if I could only remember where and during which war. Have to surrender and wait for the real experts (any takers?)
Moses03, I was always on watch, but waited for Lefty's green light.
(is it the NC-8546H?)
Have nice heli in the waiting room.
This little number was just for grins.
Rgr on watch. We have a green light here Lefty?
Sorry, gentlemen, for holding things up - thought you would press on - Wout of course zapped the sole Nord NC856-H. Belated beer - please continue ! (Can't get the smilies to work ????) PS Moses' mystery is of course the Guckenheimer Spezial, fuelled by sauerkraut. Damn - Can't get the spacing to work either ! Grrrrr....
A helicopter. The country of origin is not really known for helicopter designs and the organization that built this greenhouse produced at least two light plane designs.
Why am I alone having problems ? I can post, but not send PM's. No smilies, and no spacing either. Weird.
Let's see if I can post an image.... No, I thought not. Looks like I'm out of this for a while... HELP !
Not sure what the issue is Lefty. I posted in the staff forum about it.
No clue on the helo.
Thanks, Kevin, I'm beginning to feel like a second-class citizen here, as nobody else seems to be affected. When I click on the 'Post Reply' tab, the 'Manage Attachments' option does not appear. And my paragraph breaks are completely ignored, like this one.
