The picture was taken in a northern country.
Unfortunately, the light was so glaring that the plane's national markings disappeared.

Curious, Gx, it looks like one of the Norwegian M.F. 1's, but that photo doesn't appear to show any source of propulsion ???
I think, I see the pusher.
You are already in the right house but a wee bit off the country.

Well we'll try the Södertelge Verkstäder SW11 ?
That appears a good try to me!
I have it as Farman HF 23, SW 11 from Sweden. The houses in the background might well have stood in Södertälje.

Hi giruXX
Maybe a Hovey Whing Ding II (WD-II)?. These "take-out" planes used to carry an N-number in the 1970s.
Hi Walter. Yes, that's it!

A motor glider for a change.
Not a homebuilt and not from Europe. And if it helps, the engine was a Continental O-200-A
No takers?
Then I’ll put my coins on the first prototype of the Indian Civil Aviation Department MG-1 motor glider.

Hi giruXX
Coins wisely spent! VT-AMG from India. AFAIK only this single prototype was completed.

A still from the prequel to 'Planes'? But I'm unsure whether it's Virgil Vtol or Stubby Stol!
You should look in the Eastern hemisphere. I.e. 'Virgil' rather than 'Stubby'

Interesting, BG. I thought that it looked remakably like the façade of the LeClerc supermarket in Niort!
