Fokker Special 300hp J-6 Universal for George Graves or J-5 Universal 1548, c/n 420.
These I guess were for bad pilots.
Chris
The photo was labeled, "A special Wright Whirlwind powered Fokker sold to the Tela Railroad Company in Honduras".
I was just looking for Fokker Universal so Chris is on the ball. Not sure of the exact designation.
Well, the scenery looks like So Cal and the leading edge of the wing looks Northropish. Other than that....
If you only guess Company will be good enough. Related to larger glider.

Not found that photo, but it looks like the Hawley Bowlus half scale model of the proposed XCG 16?

You got it. It is a little confusing I assume this is the 1/2 scale MC-1 made by Airborne Transport Co. of LA. On the secret projects website have a pix of it in Olive Drab with US Star on wing. Looks like they modified the tail compared to this pix. This one flew well and the next was the MC-1 which crashed 11th Sept. 1943 because of shifting freight. Called Bowlus-Criz MC-1 by Airborne & General Co. as NX21757. [I've had load shift in Skyvan and 727 not fun, was just a small shift luckily]. Then the XCG-16.
Chris
Chris, Thank you for the expanded information, & yes moving freight in flight not good at all!
This one might be simple:

A veritable sheep in wolf's clothing, Keith - the Praga E-210.
Or if Wiki is led to be believed, as it has the 3rd fin its the E211? ..... Was hoping the German markings would lead you astray...
Over to you Mike
Keith
Thanks Keith - think I'll stick with the 210 - the 211 had a different tail set-up (see below) and didn't appear till 1947. NC+EQ was definitely a 210 !

Anyway here's an older and chunkier twin -
Heinkel HD 20 with little fenders to keep the mud in check.
That's the one. Over to Texas -
Thanks Mike.
Up next, an airliner of size for it's day.

Hey BG, this technically a Great Lakes TG-1 but 18 T4M's were built by Great Lakes into the TG-1 so your answer is acceptable.
Over to Italy.
I think that one is the Buckley F-1, BG - have not seen that photo before.
