You've watched Casablanca too many times. Either that or Le Sweeney!

Just checked "wiki" and said
SPCA 80 — initial version with Gnome-Rhône 7Kb engine (1 built) (F-AKFH)
- SPCA 81 — version with Lorraine 9Na engine (1 built) (F-AKFI)
- SPCA 82 — version with Renault 9Ca engine (1 converted from SPCA 81)
I'm not an engine guy.

Sorry gentlemen if I arrived too late regarding SPCA colonial monoplane...
I think we are all indebted to Pomme Homme for explaining what a colonial Aircraft really was in the minds of the french experts of the time secondly to summarize the Whole matter, shall I assume that:
- Moses' pic represents the SPCA 81 F-AKFI Lorraine engine
- Chtornburg's pic (which is the same I have in my files) represents the SPCA 80 F-AKFH G.R. engine
Or am I totally wrong?
Thanks for your confirmation
Cheers

What a wonderful discussion.
To muddy the waters, my photo was labeled the "80" (not 100% accurate) but you can see what looks to me "SPCA 81" on the fin.
I'm going to give Lefty the nod here as he was right in the zone with his first post.
Something more modern - whose nose is this ??
Close enough, G, this is F-BHOO, originally for photo/mapping, but modified for I.N.A.G. with equipment for research in the upper atmosphere, hence the proboscis......
That'll do nicely Lefty. This is the Swallow LT 65 which I understand is simply a "rehashed" Dale Air-Dale. The advertisement lied.
Over to you.
Advertisements lying ??? Perish the thought.....
Here's an airliner, a bit grainy, but then we like that, don't we ??
Hi Moses!
This is the best pic I've ever seen of the Ramor KE14 (Austria, 1932)...only one was built (A-139)....
Cheers

You got it BG. Can't imagine the pilot enjoyed his awkward position right at the front there.
That, unless I'm much mistaken, is the Dudley Watt D.W.2.
I would agree...my father worked for Dudley Watt on his DW1 a much modified SE5a G-EBOG, but not sure if he did any work on the DW2, although quite possible.
Keith
You are both right Pomme homme and Dev One it is the Dudley Watt DW2
Therefore the baton goes to Pomme homme asking him to please surprise us!
Cheers and apologies for the delay....
