Wout scores a goal here. Well done!
Moses03, thanks for the picture of the AER-1 It gives a much better idea of the overall configuration than the front view one (and that is the only picture I ever saw, sofar).
The new one is a stinker (except for the real buffs). It looks like a .... and also as a.... and even like a...., but its a one-off.
Rausch Aviation's 'Hudstar.'
What is known in the motor trade here as a 'cut & shut'.
Rausch Aviation's 'Hudstar. ------------------- which, BTW Kevin, was an entry in the 1953 London Christchurch (hint, nudge, hint) race although withdrawn before the race began.

for Lefty and :ernae: for srgalahad for the interesting info.
Take the nose, forward fuselage, wings, engines and u/c of a Hudson and mate these to the rear fuselage and tail group of a Loadstar. Then just add a couple of windows and you have a Hudstar.
Looking forward to Lefty's next posting.
Thanks, Wout. A nice friendly, familiar trainer - or is it ?
Everyone on vacation, then ?
Have not had time to track down this license built looking trainer. Something from Argentina maybe? China? Haven't a clue other than the cowling maybe...
On the right track, as ever......
A wild guess, the IAe-22 ?
Nipped in smartly there, Wout. Yes, it's the I.Ae D.L. 22-C with the Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah engine instead of the usual El Gaucho (as I'm sure you were all dying to tell me!)
Thanks Lefty. I have a good day as usually I am not that ""strong"" on pre-1945 types.
This twin is an easy one. I expect the answer will be on the forum within 30 minutes.
Someone bought a Beech, flew it out to the west coast. They set up a company (i.e. Morris Aviation of Long Beach) rebuilt the one-off Beech under a new name "Morris Beachcomber 1" and promptly went bankrupt when they could not sell their upgraded Beech to the public.
It it only had twin booms or a pusher engine!
Or a 37mm cannon in the nose.................
Some clues:
The manufacturer if a very old company and did not go bankrupt, but instead decided to merge.
Believe it or not, they planned a military version, although I am sure that was not a gunship.
Moses03's remark on the twin boom , pusher etc. is another hint. One equally very old manufacturer built one with the same Model Number.
And no, my twin is not :USA-flag:
Mea Culpa !
My mistake. The twin boom pusher I referred to did NOT have the same Model Number as my twin. Since I cannot blame today's temperature, it must have been the booze.
To make up for my mistake. The twin is European.
I am going memory here as I cant find a picture but would it be a Siai Marchetti 210?
Naki, spot on! It is the second prototype (the one with the tip tanks)
You are the PIC for the next one.
Ok cheers..continuing the GA theme..probably an easy one..one clue ..there was only one built
The Fawcett Aviation Pty. Ltd. Model 120 from Australia. Designed by Mr.Luigi Pellarini , flown in 1954 and in the photo it is fitted with the second engine (the original one was a DH Gipsy Major).
BTW Naki, can you confirm the second engine is a Lycoming O-360 or is it a different maker?
Yep correct...
You are correct re engine:
http://www.1000aircraftphotos.com/Co...onell/7446.htmThe aircraft was stored for many years till 1979 when its original 130 hp de Havilland Gipsy Major 1 Series 1 four cylinder in-line engine, the aircraft was re-engined in 1979 with a Lycoming O-360 four cylinder horizontally-opposed engine.
Naki thank you for the engine info.
