Crude Chinese wooden knockoff of a Russian bomber, Chengdu Yanhun III of 1944.

  2. #20352
Pretty sure about Lefty's wooden horse so I am going to move on as I will be out of pocket on and off tomorrow.

Here is a beast of a floater:

Please press on if you know it!

Kevin was of course correct with the Chinese bomber

I'll pass on his lovely floater - got a very busy day ahead - preparations for tomorrow !

If I don't have time later, may I just wish you all a very happy Christmas from Scotland - no snow, I'm afraid, but just chilly enough to justify the odd drop of 'central heating' . Cheers !

    Hi Kevin
I think your floater is the Martin M-270. Built/used to test various hull configurations, specially that of the P6M Seamaster.
Modified from the XP5M-1 Marlin prototype.

This seems to be a "anno horribiis" for my health…. I had to go into hospital Tuesday this week and came bck (temporarily)home today….however January 1st I'll have to return for further treatment…. now I'm feeling so and so but never mind…"ad majora"!

Carlo, best wishes for the upcoming hospital visit. Remember, we all want to enjoy your contributions for a long time to come!

next challenge is a twin floater with wheels that better be tugged in when trying out the liquid substance.

Merry Christmas to you all and especially to you, Carlo.
Hope that you will recover from your illness soon!

I think Walter's mystery is the Orion SK-12

It's in Aerofiles but no pix of it. The company has a strange name. Built Military and Civilian.

I said Aerofiles didn't have a pix of it. Looks like PT. Reveal in a couple of hours.

    Chris

  19. #20369
Looks very much like a PT. So it's the PU...

  20. #20370
The only other photo I could find with the "training wheel" up front was this one labeled the "A".

  21. #20371
I had it as the Orenco A over to you.

    Chris

  22. #20372
This one came about a decade later than the Orenco.

  23. #20373
The photo is a little deceiving. It's actually a unorthodox twin. The builder was known for his unusual designs.

  24. #20374
    Ahhh. It's the Burnelli UB-20 ?

  25. #20375
Mike, I have it as the CB-16 but since I was being a little cheeky there I'm not going to split hairs.🍺

    Over to the lowlands-
