The next mystery is definitely not Japanese.
    Hi Robert!
Could that be a Monocoach Zenith (Alias Lambert Twin Monocoach) with Lambert engines?
    Cheers
    Carlo

Congratulation, Carlo it is the Twin Monocoach.

Enjoy your fresh beer in these hot days

Yes Robert I saw your unusually hot cities on TV...do not despair this isn't going to last long at the most within a couple of days it's going to be all over with the fresh winds coming from the Atlantic…
I'll do my best to propose a suitable mystery within a couple of hours!
    Cheers
    Carlo

    B.A.T. F.K.26 - but I'm afraid that I can't identify the distinguished gentlemen.

The large man on the right is the designer, Frits Koolhoven.
Intel i7-7770K Kaby Lake @4.2Ghz, Cooler Master 212 Evo, 16 Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM, Asus ROG Strix Z270H motherboard, Asus RTX 2070 Turbo 8Gb, Cooler Master 700 Watt PSU, Windows 10 64-bit.

    G'day mate! It's a WARPAINT pullout from Aviation News - February 1993...

I'm amused by the pic of Mr Koolhoven and his 'distinguished chums'. Not one of them has a suit that fits properly, and just look at the shoes ! Had they not invented polish in those days ?

    Hi Mike!
Yes I do conceed that these gentlemen are just a bit dilapidated and they probably had to walk a long way to reach the plane in muddy terrain (the wheather in both the Netherlands amd Britain isn't Always exactly forthcoming)…
All the best to all and sundry
    Cheers
    Carlo

Thank you, Carlo. Now I doubt that the following will tax many of you for too long .....

Yes, Kevin, my surmise was correct. The ball falls into a Texan court ......

  14. #19614
Right. Another single engine monoplane to consider.

Bit of a turkey, that one.......

Dunno what she's but years ago I remember a couple of similar angular turkeys from Canada…..any connection (unless she's from Aerofiles)…...
    Cheers

The fact that its wheels are plinthed and there appears to be a plaque in front of it suggests some sort of memorial.

  18. #19618
Lefty is being a little coy here...

Not Canadian or USA. Two built for a special occasion.

  19. #19619
Posted by me way back in 2012 - but the photos have long disappeared.......

  20. #19620
I do not remember it from 2012 Mike. Why don't you move us along.

  21. #19621
It was a long time ago, Kevin ! This was a sort of replica built in Turkey in 2001 to recreate a Bleriot XI long-distance flight of 1914 (Istanbul-Damascus-Jerusalem-Cairo-Alexandria)

They were built by THK - the basic one called AK-01X, and the later two, which actually made the flight, AK-2000X. This one of those.

Don't have a new mystery yet, so OH, please.

Back in business again after a short trip to Berlin.

I think this is the Flywhale from Germany, Uli.

    You think right, Robert.
