Well, that demonstrates that one never should discard the obvious, Uli!

Remaining with waterborne craft, here's something that, even allowing for the absence of wings, wouldn't win any beauty competitions!

  3. #19128
Probably the ugliest thing that ever came out of a Saunders factory. The Kittiwake.

  4. #19129
In that opinion we are ad idem, Mike. Over to you.

This bird wouldn't win too many beauty contests either -

This should be a hard one. I've been working on a known aircraft company and their products. They are well know for their military aircraft not many civil aircraft usually one offs. This pix I found on a AD circa 1929 so which model not sure. There was a number on the wing will put out after 24 hrs.

    Hi Chris,
    isn’t this just a Berliner „Parasol“, i.e. a CM-4 (A.T.C. #39)?

I just received my library from storage in Hawaii. So haven't gotten around to looking at US Civil aircraft yet. Just couldn't find anything on their civil aircraft on line. You got it. I keep looking for hard ones.

Chris, what is the registration of your craft?
    Is it among those mentioned in aerofiles, i.e., C75E, C204E, C269E, C4660, C4993 or C441?

All it had was "7077" on the wing.

Just curious do you know was "CM" stands for maybe designer initials?

    Chris

  13. #19138
Unfortunately nothing found about the meaning of “CM” in Juptner

on we go with something completely different:

The AVD-12 in the background leads to Spain, however, no guess about the low-winger...

  18. #19143
And I'm thinking sunny California somewheres....

  19. #19144
    your closer than Robert

    Chris

  20. #19145
    Maybe an Arrow Sport F?

  21. #19146
It's in Aerofiles but not Arrow

    Chris

  22. #19147
