Thread: The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

    Hi Uli.
    Thanks for your reply.
I agree that the plane has much from the Fokker, however, I think the transition between windscreen and wing and the windscreen itself is different.
The engine is kind of strange. Never seen an F.VII with this engine installation.
On the other side, the cables along the fuselage really look like Fokker.

What is that silvery stripe above the windows? Another row of windows?

Maybe in the end it is indeed simply a Fokker with an unknown engine. Has anybody a photo of the F.VII-prototype?

    Now, that is really convincing.

    Many thanks for your help!

search shows no reference to this Helicopter.
I like it when you ask about unknown aircraft nice addition to thread.
I usually keep my few finds for an aircraft I know so I have something ready.

Good morning. Today we have a floater.

  14. #18189
There was a landplane version along with two different floaters. The first floater variant had one large float while the mystery ship had the two floats.

Curiously, all the floaters were exported to other countries.

    Martin R

I wasn't able to find a pix with the single float have you one?

    Chris

  16. #18191
That is it Chris, though technically the merger of two rivals, a Wright-Martin R.

I have not seen a single float photo.

It looks so much smaller and flimsy in that angle photo.

Here is a nice tourer that should not be too difficult.

  21. #18196
    Bellanca Cruisair?

  22. #18197
Sorry Mike, it's not a Bellanca.

  23. #18198
Nah. Kevin's cruiser is the Nardi 310.
And Chris' second photo shows the earlier Onciul RO-1,hence the difference !

  24. #18199
    Mike

Thanks for the info. I found it listed as RO2
