    The Bestetti EB.4 perhaps?

Mike- It's not related to the Ambrosini although similar in layout.

Edit: Uli- I have it as the Bazzocchi EB.4, designed by Ermanno Bazzocchi of Macchi fame. Arturo Magni also had a hand in it and later built for MV Agusta.

I have not run across Bestetti as being involved but you do have the correct designation so let's press on as you probably have more info on it!

We even discussed it in detail back in May 2017 and I didn't remember it at all.

Whatever it is exactly, Uli seems to know so moving on.

    I don't have a solution to the Bestetti / Bazzocchi EB.4, either

I hope this one is less confusing (despite its designation):

No wonder it looked familiar to me only I didn't recognize it from the pictured perspective: I have it as the Bestetti-Bazzohi EB4 (engine was a Taveggia "Moscone" 47PD). May I add that quite some time ago I sent you (can't remember the date or post number) a post card illustrating a three quarter view of the EB4 . Anyway "Bravo" for digging up one more card of this less known canard!
    Cheers

That whole ensemble looks French ? Don't recognise the 'sports car'......

  11. #17636
    Wrong tree, lefty.

We are in Teutonia. The name of the designer is Franz Xaver and the car is a Hanomag.

Nothing less than the Mehr Me 1 ("mehr" is the German word for "more")

The second picture was a good clue, Uli.

The "Hanomag" is a famous German car.

  13. #17638
Yes, it's the Me 1 not by Willi Messerschmitt but by F.X. Mehr, the chief designer of the ERLA lightplanes! Enjoy a gulp
