Looks like a Saro at first glance. Not sure at all.

Not a Saro. Those are diesel engines, by the way - that should be the key.
....and she's all the way from Motown ! :USA-flag:
I guess the forward raked windscreen should have been a red flag.
Towle TA-3 Flying Boat?

Hoof. Thats an obscure one. Ford? or Detroit aircraft company or one of is subsidiary's like Eastman or Marine Aircraft? Been a few diesel A/C engines, but I can't think of any US...or any air cooled radial diesels. In fact, the only radial diesel I had ever heard of was a huge russian 56 cyl liquid cooled unit intended for use in an icebreaker.

Er, the engines were by some obscure outfit called Packard, Charlie ! A Towle TA-3 it is.
Over to Ferry
Here's another nice twin:
Please move on if you are sure about the answer, because I will not be around much the next few days.

Thanks for the brewski.
Next up, a medium twin of sorts. I like the spatted tailwheel myself.
Ferry must have gone to bed early - he surely would not have missed out on a Fokker !
It is an XO-27 converted to an XB-8 ?
OK, let's get more 'modern'.
I may have posted this before, but then again I posted the Rey a while back (and scored a direct hit with it at the time - we're all getting too good !)
Douze points for the Breda-Pittoni BP-471.
Don't know about the douze points, Wout, all you get here is the booze points. You got it right, of course.
Still cannot upload pictures. Gives me time to collect some really difficult ones.
May I declare OPEN HOUSE. Please go ahead

Shows you what I know!
Good luck with your move Ferry.
Lefty- Just google "windows error generator" or some such. There are a few sites that let you make custom messages like that.
Excuse me, chaps; but what is that aeroplane exactly? Can't find it in any of my Fokker books & would like to know!

Ferry is referring to the previous mystery, Ralf, the XB-8. I was joshing him for having missed out on a Fokker
The current one is NOT a Fokker. I have given enough hints.
Right - on we go. Surprised nobody got the Bach T11-P.
Here's a well-known floater - with a difference.
