Gx has nailed the Delanne, although it also materialised under another designation, the SCA SFR-10. Maybe some of our French contributors could enlarge on this ?

As for pommehomme's question, I fear that those unfortunates who never read the Eagle won't have a clue what he's talking about !

that's Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future

I found another synonym for the Delanne 11: Moreau JM-10

To continue, you may try this one:

My wife read that and said that, despite the fact she's never read The Eagle, she's never had a clue what I'm talking about!

Since Fred got involved (early/mid 1950s) those ag-planes looked rather similar, except for the colours.
This one is from around 2007

The native country produces a very succesful ag-plane, mainly for domestic use and pioneered a special fuel which you also find in

  9. #15559
Ah, then it must be French and is fuelled with eau-de-vie!!

'Fraid my library doesn't extend much into this century ! (According to my better half, I haven't quite got there either.......)

  15. #15565
Then if it's Brazilian, does it run on rum? Maybe locally the IPE 010 is known as the Cachaça?

  16. #15566
Aguardente, in Portuguese.......I occasionally have it in Madeira and you could fly jets with it........

    Hi all responders
Mike, if you are happy in the previous century, what is the problem then
What I learned from your ansers is that you also have a lot of knowledge of alcohol as well. My reference to that precious liquid was indeed the Ipanema as noted by Chris, in particular the EMB-202/202A Ipanemão Álcool which had an engine (O-540) modified to accept Ethanol won from sugar cane.
giroXX came up with the correct answer. Production was to take place by PlanAir Indústria Aeroespacial LtdA, a company specially formed in 2006 for the further development and production and it had been renamed the PL-010 CuranGO. (Did production actually happen???)

giruXX, when you have finished your drink .........

Great comments all over, really enjoyable.

Here is a bigger number (that wasn’t built in big numbers and which didn’t appear here before, AFAIK)

Ok then, the key to the right path is the

Keystone K-47A Pathfinder from West Indian Aerial Express, named Santa Maria.
