Hi Mike (hope it is not too early for this!)
The only T-9 (T-IX) built. She never flew again after this mishap (the u/c collapsed after landing).
The playing field is all yours!

I`ll say B and let Texas (or surroundings) say A

  8. #15108
It is the B like Walter said. The Aerocar Coot Model B that is.

I am away from the mainframe and Walter had it so over to the Dutchman.

Not from Europe or USA. Her elegant lines earned her an outstanding original homebuilt award.

    Hi PH
Juno as in Juno Alaska? In that case you are getting closer, distance wise.
Mike, I was told by Maxwell (the designer/builder) he liked her lines because these were, well, different .

  14. #15114
When I made by reference to Junoesque I was thinking more in terms of a generously proportioned body, Walter!

  15. #15115
Aye, but Juno had curves, Mike. This one is not exactly Rubenesque -more School of Lego........

  16. #15116
A fair point, Mike. Maybe Junoesque in the Cubist style? None of which takes us any closer to identifying Walter's mystery aeroplane!

  17. #15117
Indeed. Come on, gX,ff, BG, Moses - one of you knows.......

I thought it were French, but France is excluded this time

From Juno (the one in Alaska) go south and you should end up in Canada, the country of Maxwell A Say where he built his Mini Jumbo.
    Regi C-GBZF. Engine Lycoming O-235, two-seater, first flown 1983.
I have no further details as Google or similar provides none. Btw, the picture came fom an old EAAC magazine, the only place where I ever found info on her.

    Grab your chance

Looks like the design got altered along the road - different wing struts, cowl, etc.

A small modification could make the difference between (award-winning) 'elegance' and 'junoesque'

May I supply this in return to Wout’s open house? (I hope there is no discussion about elegance with this one)
