Lefty stole my April 1st thunder with the Curtiss-Wright CW-32 mockup!

I will spare you all another one in favor of a real effort.

My guess goes to an EMSCO.

    Is that an EMSCO B-7C?

  8. #14783
My offer for today is from about the same era as the EMSCO.

  9. #14784
Apologies, Kevin - next April will be here before we know it......

    Hi BG.

    That's the bird

Though the text says it's a 640, by the registration it becomes a 641.

    Your turn,

    cheers
    Robert

Here comes my next offer and I hope you don't mind if it is a motorglider (you will note that I haven't deleted the reg but I know you all are a bunch of decent people and nobody will dare to look it up)

Go for it Carlo. The Buxton I think has appeared twice and the last time was fairly recent. No worries though as I think we have all doubled up at one time or another.

I guess there's a lion in the roundel

I am not sure about its designation.

Wikipedia has it as Aermacchi AL-60

Here it is: http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/aa-a...pes/trojan.htm Aermacchi Al 60 Trojan

Interesting gX. I'm guessing something Russian or at least Eastern Europe. I think I would remember having seen this one before.

  23. #14798
    Hi Kevin,

interesting ideas. But completely off. It flew much closer to your place than you think, i.e., you should look west, not east.

Hmm, gX, confusing - especially round the engine area ! I think you may have (quite legitimately) removed identifying marks from the fuselage, but were there any more windows there ????

    Hallo Mike.

The photo is almost as it appeared. There was only an illegible text on the fin and the (legible) registration on the rudder.

In contrast to its ungainly look on the ground it appears outstandingly elegant in flight (several over-flight photos are on the web).
