In view of the lengthy intermission, which accounts for most of the time which has elapsed since I posted the latest image, I'll let a little more time run, in the hope of someone producing an identification, before posting another image of the same aeroplane, but from a different angle, which might make identification somewhat easier.

I didn't mean in the least to argue....I just said what I thought it was (besides you can't deny the strong resemblance between the Klemm and the still unknown tourer)

The aircraft in the picture is the third example of that type that has been built. You had that type already here before. However, in a different configuration.

I have it as the Levy-Besson Alerte of 1917, but also found reference to the Besson LB with what looked like the same airplane.
Not going to split hairs here so a brew.
