Thank you, giruXX. Here's the next, gentlemen. Some sources describe it as a motor glider.

In view of the lengthy intermission, which accounts for most of the time which has elapsed since I posted the latest image, I'll let a little more time run, in the hope of someone producing an identification, before posting another image of the same aeroplane, but from a different angle, which might make identification somewhat easier.

  5. #13705
    Here's a more revealing view.

  6. #13706
Ah, much better. Looks to be the Leduc RL-12?

  7. #13707
And that, Kevin, is exactly what it is. Over to you.

  8. #13708
    A fighter for the military.

I don't mean to split hair but couldn't she be a Wibault 8 "Simoun"? Truly both look tremendously alike!

I can’t argue about what you believe or think, BG. But the aircraft I showed has nothing to do with the Klemm L-26.

I didn't mean in the least to argue....I just said what I thought it was (besides you can't deny the strong resemblance between the Klemm and the still unknown tourer)

Hey BG- They do look close but I have it as the 9.

The aircraft in the picture is the third example of that type that has been built. You had that type already here before. However, in a different configuration.

I have it as the Levy-Besson Alerte of 1917, but also found reference to the Besson LB with what looked like the same airplane.

Not going to split hairs here so a brew.

(If anyone wants to clear the title even more, please feel free)

    Over to Chris.
