OK fellows, I want the specific model number of this one, and what was unusual about it ?

You are absolutely right, BG - this is actually the one fitted with a Jumo V while waiting for its CLM 'Lille' licence-built engine. Back to Italy !
Thanks Lefty!
Since we are in France let's stay there....what's the name of this (probably home made) monoplane?
Cheers
BG
I have it as the Guedon Monoplane, designed by a M. Guedon. That is all I have. I imagine PH has more on it!
I love the smell of diesel in the morning...
Around 535 of these were produced. The diesel was a 1946 variant.
Basically yes Mike, this particular diesel version is a 105 but 10 works for me.
The story here: https://books.google.com/books?id=Af...diesel&f=false
Have at it-
Here's one you could have bought post-war for a three-figure sum.....
East coast USA. Lycoming engine.
I have seen this one before. Trying to jog my memory...
Hi Mike
The Ross RS-2L (L for Lycoming?) ?
Got it! Just unearthed this from my archives.
Edit: Wout beat me to the punch!
Yes, Walter nicked it ! I was a little out with the price - the original 1939 version was $875.
Over to Holland.
Thank you Mike
Sorry Kevin, but here is another your chance!
All I can disclose is that the regisration on the aircraft does not contain an N.
Sorry, sorry, sorry
She has a registration containing an N, but not the FAA way
Walter, my search for aircraft manufactured in Nicaragua, Nepal and Nigeria failed to turn up this Tucano clone, so I'll have to leave it to chaps with more up-to-date books than me ! (Norway too!)
The scenery looks like somewhere hottish.....
Hi MIke
The N is in the five letter registration (no.4), but so many countries have five letter registrations.
You are right about the hottish scenery. You may find several (maybe all?) of the big five over there.
OK, I looked harder in Zuid Afrika, and came up with ZU-CNH, the Lammer Geyer Jupiter ?
Hi Mike
Excellent research. The Jupiter it is
Looking forward to your next challenge.
Thanks Walter - probably prefer a hot toddy to a cool drink - succumbing to one of those wretched summer colds !
Here's a neat trainer -
Caproni Ca 164 hiding in French markings.
