An amended Fairchild (X)R2K-1 maybe?
Baragouin
No, this one of three Fairchild 22-C7F supplied to Colombia in 1934.
Here's another machine far from home...
Blast! I just saw this one somewheres...
This is a SIAI S-52 of 1923 powered by a Hispano-Suiza HS42. Only two built.
Baragouin
PS Also known as Savoia-Marchetti SIAI S52
Concerning #7772 that's what AeroFiles state:
22C-7F 1933 (ATC 517) = 145hp Warner Super Scarab; span: 32'10" length: 22'0" load: 617# v: 138/118/48 range: 400+. $3,480; POP: 9 [NC9379, NC9383, NC13284], 1 to USN/NACA as XR2K-1 [9998] and 5 unregistered exports to Mexico.
The is yours, Baragouin, but for an extra pastis, tell me where this one flew ?? (and it's not Mexico.......)
Thanks Lefty but you're asking too much of me so I think I'll have to give up drinking your pastis.....
BG
This one found itself in........ which, as I'm sure you all know, is Paraguay.
Over to you, BG, while I slurp the pastis........
Good afternoon/night/morning gentlemen!
to start the year this is my enigmatic machine....
BG
Looks like he's ordering his lunch (moules, mayo & frites) - it's an ACAZ C.2
Quite a few reposts here lately.... Luckily I saved most photos (Over 2,000 up til today!) over the last few years and zipped 'em up so I can send them to anyone that wants them.
If you are interested, send me a PM with your email adress so I can upload the zip file this weekend to wetransfer.com and you'll receive a link to download in your mail.

Baragouin has been away for a day. I would suggest pressing on here Mike.
Good on you to archive the photos Ferry.
Sorry for the delay gentlemen (senility demands its toll!)...
:redf:Yes it is the belgian ACAZ C2, Please carry on
Baragouin
All right, what is this one ?
Yup - the one with the big radiator......
Nice photo Mike. Have not seen that before.
Up next a twin. I like twins.
A brew for Lefty.
I bet that Bernard book has some interesting photos.
The 'bulgy bit' looks like a torpedo, or it could possibly be a stowed towed target?
Keith
You are right Keith. I didn't even notice that was a torpedo slung under there.
From a very well-known company which is still making aeroplanes today !
When you get it, please proceed as I shall be absent for a couple of days..
mmmm...it reminds me of a Curtiss XN2C-1 "Fledgling", floater version that is.....
Baragouin
That a single main pontoon and wing floats? If so, nothing is coming up for that layout. Otherwise it looks a little like a Martin T4M-1 minus the float bits but that is a stretch.
