Burgess Twin Seaplane?
That's the one
Would not have tracked it down without your last clue about the merger.
Here is something completely different-

well of COURSE it is Dave !
This 100 hp Anzani powered pusher biplane was built by Florentin Champel. It had a span of 54 ft 6 in (16.61 m) and a gross weight of 1,543 lb (700 kg). It made a record flight in 1912 by carrying 5 persons over 155 miles (250 km) in three hours and one minute.

Persian Hawker Fury - the only reason I got this was because you just posted it over at Breguet's Challenge :mixedsmi: , so although I may be correct, I still concede defeat as I'm absolutely terrible at head-on views. OPEN HOUSE
teach me to be lazy!!
Looks like the Kyushu K11W Shigaru, a JNAF trainer of about 1940.
Dave
Hi Kevin :salute:
If not Dave`s K11W, could it be the same Kyushu`s Q3W1 Nankai subhunter/mp of 1945?
I'm curious about this one.....every photo of the K11W I've seen has a small crew access door on the port side just aft of the wing trailing edge. This one doesn't have it (or was it photoshopped out?)
Here is the original photo I had-culled from an internet troll at some point. Surrender markings? One of those white and green painted jobs I guess. Maybe they painted over the hatch.
Unless, of course, someone reversed the neg.............
How about
SARO Lerwick?
Keith
Saro Lerwick ? The pic is a bit minimalist !
How's that for a photo-finish ? I could swear Keith's post wasn't there when I posted ! Think he's right though..........
It is the Lerwick - Keith was in first, though just, so gets the
Thanks I needed that!!!
Open House again though.
