Me thinks it furiously looks like a Rumpler 6B1 with curious markings...
Curious indeed - this machine was one of two belonging to the Bulgarian Navy which were appropriated by l'Aviation Maritime at Varna in 1918.
A Rumpler 6B1 indeed - well spotted sir.
Cheers, here's something lighter...

It's a Harley-Davidson !
(I think that's Hans Klemm with his Daimler-Klemm L.17)
Interesting stuff here.. http://www.harleysons.de/xxxxKlemm.htm
That was quick !
Thanks - sorry gentlemen I have been embroiled with a new install of Win7 on a fresh disk, and the usual hassles with backups not working etc etc .....
Please, open house. See you when I get all this sorted. I know, I know, if it ain't broke............
Hope you get it sorted Mike.
Here is a little runabout in the meantime...
This baby is F-BEEU, the Holste MH.53 Cadet (yet another Gipsy Major user !)
Pray continue - I am still enmeshed in Mr Gates' impenetrable systems..........you'd have thought after all this time they could get USB to work reliably............
What about this sportster...Attachment 21462
Baumer-Aero "Sause-wind" (Buzzing Wind), by Seigfried and Walter Gunter.
Exactly a BII with his Wright Lawrance L4.
Your turn :ernae:
Thank you for posting that one Fasm. I had not seen it before but it certainly looked like a Gunter design. I would like to learn more about this aircraft and would appreciate any links or references.
I am still trying to get through the entire thread to see if I have anything that has not been posted before. I hope this is new...

Here's few infos about the Baumer...

Okay then, this is the Arhangelsky SBB-1 from mother Russia.
Still don't know how Hurricane91 knew that was a Baumer! There are so many designs like that.
How about this one?
Ah, it's one of the Seven Dwarves ---- wait for it ---- Do-P.
Groans all round.
Here's another nice little monoplane.
Indeed, sir, built by a distinguished designer of other types of aircraft.....
