Junkers T 26 - or is this a booby trap ?

Reason I didn't stumble on the XA-2 is that there is only the barest mention of it in Francillon's book - having decided the tail was Douglas, I thought the answer would be in there !

Bataille indeed. I think we may be about to lose Belgium -the Flemish and Walloons are showing signs of being terminally fed up with each other - but it is still one of my favourite places.

The Halsmer Model 3 Aero Car in later form (with only the pusher engine and the 4-wheel gear)
