Now I know why I couldn't find it anywhere. It is in the SAILPLANE section of Jane's !!!!!!!
(Territory into which I rarely venture)

This one is definitely an aeroplane.....

  2. #3502

  7. #3507
Sorry for the grainy pic. This one didn't get photographed very much...

Might be away until late afternoon tomorrow so press on Gents if you know it.

Too many giveaways there, Kevin - particularly the Handley-Page slots (and the very British house in the background)

This is the HP.32 Hamlet, G-EBNS, which also flew in twin-engine configuration.

This monster had rather more wings - and engines - in fact the first four-engined machine to fly in its land of origin.....

  9. #3509
    on the Hamlet!

The monster is the Voisin Triplan(e) of 1915.

    Twin booms anyone?

  11. #3511
That was quick. A to the newcomer.

Welcome stormtrooper. The board is yours.

  12. #3512
    This probably won't take long.

  13. #3513
    Bell X-5

  14. #3514
Pretty sure about that one, so I'll venture into Mike's realm with this:

  15. #3515
A Danish confection, this - the Nielsen & Winther Type BD.

  16. #3516
I knew that one was a goner.

  17. #3517
    Something for the Rotary Club........

  18. #3518
That looks very much like a AISA CA-48.

  19. #3519
Spanish lady she is. Glass of chilled manzanilla for our heatwave sufferer..

  20. #3520
98F today. Nice to have a cooler day. :isadizzy:

    Anyone up for a twin?

  21. #3521
Your French lady would be the Dyle et Bacalan DB.20 from 1929.

  22. #3522
Here's a nice trimotor to ponder.......

  23. #3523
    on the DB.20.

Your trimotor looks like a Euro special. Or maybe it's the heat getting to me...

  24. #3524
    Well it ain't Bulgarian.............

  25. #3525
Correct, you can scratch Bulgaria from the list. This one has characteristics found in several models produced by this manufacturer.
