Thread: The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

    OK, a floater....

  2. #3027
Maybe someone else can finish this one off.

  3. #3028
Dear dear, thought somebody would have lapped up that strong hint..........

  4. #3029
Okay, Okay, I'll nibble. Been busy with honey-do's (drywall, plumbing, ughh. The list never ends.)

Our mystery floater would be the VL E.30 Kotka I. It'll bet this nasty will last less than a day with the talent we have in here. Enjoy!!

  5. #3030
Has a French feel but probably hails from the land of grainy photography...

  6. #3031
If that's the case then you should have no trouble finding it Oh Great Master Of Grain. :mixedsmi:

  7. #3032
    Ferry, Wout..............jump right in.

  8. #3033
I think our silence is eloquent, dear boy........

  9. #3034
Ahhh, just trying to get the 'masses' involved. More bodies.....more odd aircraft to ponder.
Hey, I noticed that a few of the older posts' attachments have been restored. Not many, but a few.

  10. #3035
Think you misread it - I for one haven't posted the answer because I haven't a friggin' clue what it is. I have a feeling that applies to Moses also.

  11. #3036
Well, after a 4 day hiatus I think it's time to reveal this one..... It's a Raymor KE-14 (Austrian, 1933)

  12. #3037
Next up we go from grainy to washed out. Yes, I too have one of the lowest quality photo collections around.......

Hmmm, It appears as if the file attachment option is still down. I may try attaching from a website instead of my PC...........

  13. #3038
We'll give it another day or so - attaching from a website didn't work either "invalid file type". Ughh.

  14. #3039
    Raymor eh?

Everyone enjoy their week off? Still some bugs in the forums but should be smoothed out soon. I will be a bit absent for a few days because of the big RTW race in progress:

Edit: Testing upload. Looks Like things are still buggy. Methinks we will have to start new again with attachments. (Might be a good time to start a new thread?) What do you all think?

  15. #3040
A new year, a new server, a new thread. Sounds good to me.

  16. #3041
I think the attachment issue has been corrected now. If so, you are on the board DHC2.

  17. #3042
As promised, my washed out submission

  18. #3043
DHC2 goes for the jugular right out of the gate. Another Eastern European horror maybe? I'm not quite up to full speed yet after the race. That said, I have over 200 aircrafts in the queue waiting to test you all!

  19. #3044
You betcha! No 'gimme's' from me. I too have some beauties lined up if this one remains unsolved. I'll try to find a better picture of this one for you gents though.

  20. #3045
    Here's a 3-view of it

  21. #3046
And one of her doing what she does

  22. #3047
Okay, gloves off. This is a Renard 16/100. One built 1929.

  23. #3048
Hate to keep the night owls and early birds deprived. Lets press on with this twin. The wings may be off in the photo but it's a proper aeroplane.

The one and only SIPA S-70 designed by Mr. Yves Gardan and flown in 1949.
Registered F-WCZI and rumoured not to be too successful.

When correct, please OPEN HOUSE as I have a serious industrial dispute with the scanning part of clay tablet making machine.:isadizzy:
