    Landclass and mesh

    I think this may have been discussed here before, but can't seem to find it with a search. What is the diffence in "landclass" and "mesh" ?
    Also, while doing my rebuilds, I found I still had Gary20's European mesh files. Will SdC's , or other ie; Stitz's, textures work with them?

    Fibber,

    Yes, Gary20's mesh will work fine. To explain it simply...

    Mesh sets elevation ONLY.

    Landclass tells the sim to 'redraw" the ground textures so that they more accurately reflect the actual terrain in that location.

    Textures are just the bitmaps placed by the sim in a pre-chosen location. Sander's Landclass, for example, will tell the sim where to place those textures.

    Rami;
    Thanks for the explanation. As I said in another post, a serious case of CRS re; this game, has set in lately.
