Hey Wing_Z - an alternative prop textue for the Lublin in your lovely screenshot (looks better in motion):

    Attachment 20849

I have also added the line:

    prop_anim_ratio=0.035

into the each plane's entry in the aircraft cfg file.

Thanks for the new prop for the Lublin RXIII. Nice piece of work and really improves the plane. I am working on a new sound pack for the plane.

You're welcome Guys. FYI the extra textures in the FSX version can be made to work with the FS9 model (they are in .dss format):

It's just a real shame we didn't get the float version in the FS9 download.

Looking forward to your sounds Obio.

It's been a while since I posted a screen shot taken in my freeware based installs. I took a number of shots while flying the IRIS F-14 and the FSD T-38 (without the cargo pod), but the last time I cleaned my sim drive, I deleted my screen shot folder and only the very last screen shot was saved. It's a good one.

Oh..I did notice that when the lights are turned on on the freeware FSD T-38 that it becomes translucent....like the lighted model does not have reflective texturing enabled and the alpha channel on the textures then cause the lighted model to be partially see through. Will have to see if I can fix that.

Well, here's my screen shot. 100% Freeware. FSD T-38, flying out of Fallon NAS, Nevada. Right at dusk. Pablo Diaz's HDE Cloud and Sky packages. FSGenesis US LOD10 mesh.

I love tinkering with freeware in the sim...
Great FW freeware shot OBIO, the horizon blending especially.
    Nice UFO there, too.

  13. #388
There were a few UFOs out toward the horizon during that flight. I tried to catch up with them, but they all did that Instant Warp thing and got away. Which is a shame as my passenger had his Canon D50 HD camera and we were going to finally get some good clear shots of those alien craft. I might just have to roll the T-38 into the hangar and swap out the engines for some from the F-20....some real After Burner equipped babies. Maybe that will let me get close enough for some good shots next time.

    Something Completely Different

    A totally custom sim!
Traffic Toolbox reports 282 custom AI planes, nice to bump into the national carrier halfway around the world too.
Custom weather, airport, textures for sky, cloud, and ground.

Custom B773, one of the best-looking tubes on the market I reckon.
I just wish POSKY would get the FDE fixed!
One version has you landing on the nosewheel, the next, mushing into a stall at cruise!

But Wow nonetheless, FS9 can do stuff I don't think anyone anticipated, all those years ago.

I'm thinking that's one of the Bruno "brunosk" Escaravage models. Originally for CFS2

    BSK_Mossie_V3_0.zip or BSK_MosquitoNFII_V4.zip

Though I can't find them in the archives now.
