    Hi Guys,

we discovered a small issue with our birds when encountering icing conditions in flight. Apparently I had installed the valve for the de-icing boots incorrectly
Tom Gibson at CalClassic inspected the airframes and found the problem.
The fix can be downloaded here for both the G and H models:

    Save flying

It's amazing to see how the "Connie Team" takes care of its bird.

Compare this to the "product&support policy" of a well (badly?) known payware vendor just some threads below...

    @ Tim-HH:
Are you already on a repaint on the "older" LUFTHANSA livery?

If not, I'd like to take over...

    Cheers,
    Markus.

    Hallo, Stefan!

This one won't go without some vectors - I'm still learning...

Looks quite "lecker" already Markus. Had to pan up and down a few times to figure out which is the sim and which is the picture.

That's just because of the awesome model!

The 'real' photo seems to be heavily retouched, but some other sources told me that the earlier Lufthansa blue and yellow colours were quite lighter than the later ones. But I'm afraid that it will take some more time - haven't even started to get the lines fitting on the snub-nose...

    btw:
If anyone recognizes the belly's metal textures - they are borrowed and modified from Greg Pepper's immortal DC-6. I hope he would have accepted this...

    Regards,
    Markus.

Haha Markus...well with the lines on the SnubNose...I am guessing that will take you another 4 weeks or so

I had a few coronaries when I did the TCA paints to get the bloody lines to curve and line up with the ones on the sides.

But since this is definitely not your first dance I am sure we'll see her fly in no time.

Sorry, guys - my early Lufthansa Connie is cancelled!

The good news is that connie1049 over at calclassic's is already on it:

Still lots of tin to be brushed...

    Cheers,
    Markus.

I made this livery last month

But nevertheless another LH repaint in this color wouldn't be bad

    Hi, Tim!

    No disappointment for me!
    Glad you did it.

No reason to roll out a second best version...
(Dang it - this guy is always faster than me...)

    Cheers,
    Markus.
