Where is 'here'? Why announce a product without including one shred of information?

Man.. My little girl.. released to the world.. Dare I tell anyone.

Treat her nice. Be gentle. Break in the turbine at proper RPM's.

Let me know if there are issues and I will get them worked out as soon as possible.

She is designed for fun, rough landings, STOL take-offs, bush pilot types of things..

    The manual is here; http://lionheartworld.net/schloss/Qu...Manual.pdf.zip

Side note; For those that might not read manuals.

The new Garmin MFD (center panel) has some new innovations.
    * Lowered refresh rates for better frame rate performance
    * Map rendering sleep mode (Map menu button on bottom row of MFD)
    * Terrain button (night mode) [stock FS frame rate saver]
    * Declutter; now available on this MFD, allows you to take out all rendered objects in the MFD down to just airfields so that frame rates (with day time textures in map mode) will increase as there are less objects being rendered (and rendered slower or slowly).

Then also, for even slower computers, I have the 'High Performance Textures Pack' installer. This reduces huge FSX DDS textures down to 1024 pixeles square, and in FS2004, textures go from 32bit High Rez, down to DXT3 standard resolution.

Should work out for everyone. :d

    Bill, good morning.
I have a question for you. Are the sounds default or custom?
    Thanks and God bless.

They are stock FS Cessna Caravan soundpacks, both in FSX and FS2004. They are directly linked.

I was highly impressed with the sounds, especially with FSX, and simply linked them. Its my thoughts that the sounds would be very similar in the two airframes, (Kodiak and Caravan). Neither are pressurized (like the Epic is) so I felt the soundpacks from FS were more then adequate.

I believe Bill answers this in the Q & A on his website.

I have copied the relevant section from his webpage

Question: Can I install this over the older version of Kodiaks for FS?
Answer: No. You MUST delete the older version or you will see other versions of the older models mixed in with
    the new platforms and textures.

BTW I really appreciate the time and trouble Bill goes to in producing these wonderful aircraft and the amount of valuable information he provides for end-users.

I already have and enjoy his Bellanca Viking. The Kodiak is now a must buy for me (when I can afford it) together with the others in his hangar.

Well done Bill!Another stellar aircraft for us to enjoy.

    best

Beautiful looking model, congrats on the release Bill!

I want this, but there's lots of detail in the shots, can anyone with a lower end machine comment on performance in the sim? compared against the defaults?

    Sweet!!

Wow! Just in time for the summer season in Tongas and Misty Fjords. Thanks for a great aircraft. I just spent the last five hours flying her and she is SWEET. Love the Ambulance cabin. I found a few issues but very minor and I'll wait to make sure that they are not "operator errors" as I was pretty tired when flying her. I couldn't wait to try it out. The Caravan is a great aircraft, but I've always wanted a STOL with big load capacity that can get into some of the 1200' strips. This is great! :friday:

    dear Bill

    Wonderful bird

    Some practiacl questions

How do the PFD and MFD(Except above) differ from the EPIC ?
Any solution for the more higher end computer boys for VC resolution except go to 2048,2048s?

    thanks
