What are the default autogen trees and buildings settings in the fsx.cfg?
I have lowered mine over time and want to go back to default. Thanks

The MAX is 4500 trees and 6000 buildings. I don't know if that
is the default. I thought I had a note somewhere stating
the default but I'm not finding it at the moment.

If you remove the statements setting those values I would assume that FSX
would then use the default values. Of course that still doesn't tell you what
    those values are

Well per Nick,FSX scales, adapts whatever and these values effect that. If you change them to a lower setting as most of us have and move the sliders in game,it can neg effect performance. It the out of the box thinking that higher settings can improve performance. I have never actually seen this in all my years of tweeking but its worth a try.
I am going to add ///// in front and see if it defaults???

If you just remove that tweak it will set to default..Default config does not have those two lines displayed in the config, so by removing the lines it will load back defaults , but you will see no entries into the config then

Unless you fly in one area, using one plane its impossible to nail down any "best" setting or config. Simply changing planes, weather or the area you fly will screw it up. I am trying to find that one size fits all sim and card setting and as you know, is dam near impossible.
