Question OK, one for the books,...

    ...and seeing is believing.

I was flying a mission in Era 1, contributed to ETO by Talon, and entitled "Dunkirk 007 Hurricane Escort". We were taking care of the enemy in relatively good order, when I noticed another 109. I went after him, got on his tail, and shot him up, but good, and I thought the matter was settled. I then went about my business. After a couple of minutes or so, I saw him again, heading off in a straight and level line. Again, I went after him and shot him up again as you can plainly see, and the pilot bailed out.

I started to move off, and noticed that the aircraft showed no signs of going down. I decided to follow it. I did so for a little over 20 miles. Yep. No pilot. As a matter of fact, as the next-to-last pic here shows, it was headed straight for an airbase! It wound up actually going past it, and then I decided to finish it off.

    Enjoy!:d

It happens and if you wanna Really see strange, next time ya vanquish a foe and it remains airborne, fly into the proximity of its gunsights and see what happens...
Another fun glitch is assigning a target to a wingman...
Don't come between him and his target!!! or... Surprize!

What do you mean by still airborne? Popsaka, I've been hit by bomber AI guners after it has crashed and is burning. LOL Give 'em a medal. They deserve it!

Know all too well about being hit by my own wingmen, too. Lotsa fun, ain't it? I think they oughtta be sent back to "Target Recognition School". LOL:d

I agree with Griz...but I must confess that I myself have already shot down one or two of the dumb wingmen that had scratched the painting of my aircraft with their bullets...:friday::argue:
