WWII gliders - is this even possible?

Having no knowledge of the alchemy behind the hobby, I'd love to have in my FS9 list a Horsa or a Hadrian which was able to discharge, with a keystroke, a full complement of paras - who would fall away earthwards before deploying their chutes! But is this even possible? Has it already been done? What spectacular screenshots you could create!

Paul Clawson gave us a CG-4 Hadrian. It's probably in the library here, and he also released on one, two or all of FlightSim, AvSim and SimV. I don't think we've had a Horsa.

SimV has Horsa by Paul Clawson.

There is my Piper TG-8 Glider Cub

    Mick' sliver texture for it.

Also CG-4s and Horsas don't drop paratroops.

Thanks for that, Allen. Yes of course you are right that the paras didn't jump from the gliders - I was getting too excited by the idea & forgot that! Is there then a C-47 or any FS9 troop carrier which drops paratroops?

Somewhere, there are FX files for jumpers and fast-ropers.
I think they date back to FS98, so sorry but someone's already thought of it.

One thing I should warn you about FS9, the "ballistics" are better in FS2002 and before for FX files.

Its as if Aces wanted FS9 to be a lot more pacifist.
    But, it CAN be done.

Do search at Avsim library for 'Heather Sherman' , she did a few variations
You'll find what you're looking for.

There is a Dawn Ampney scenery including a mall Skytrain traffic supposed to tow Horsa gliders, also shown as static objects.

    Hi Bernard,

What scenery is this? Could be interesting?

Thanks, Pete, I just spent a lot of time looking at Heather's add-ons. Some forgotten gems there that I downloaded..

Thanks, guys - plenty to chew on here

(@ Bob:- I wasn't wanting to create something myself - I don't have the skills - merely thinking about potential for some dramatic screenshots)
