Really liking this aircraft, very nice to fly, very complete package (radar, carriers, talking RIO) - Easter bargain

Carriers included are static only, yes? Views on the carrier quality and value wise?

I understand the Asobo/Jayshrike and Miltech carriers are the only moving carriers available at present in MSFS?

Yes, static only. Nicely detailed with Tomcats aboard and Seaking planeguard, but no mirror that I can see so you wouldn't use them unless you had no other...
Value? well they're free effectively, the Tomcat is worth much more than they are asking...

Agreed, only the Maverick and Miltech carriers move.

As Keith has mentioned, it is an incredible price for the aircraft alone.

The static carriers are very well done and detailed, and positioned in 4 or 5 locations around the globe.

I had been holding off on this one, but couldn't refuse it at just under $21 USD. The VC is absolutely incredible!
    Cheers,

Thanks all. Before I pull the trigger on this, a quick question re specs. Dino mentions 3.5GHz CPU, and I'm running a new 3.4GHz PC with the following specs:

    • AMD® Ryzen™ 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor w/ Thermalright Assassin X 120 Refined SE ARGB CPU Cooler
    • MSI B550M PRO-VDH WiFi Motherboard
    • 32GB DDR4-3200 RAM (2x 16GB)
    • 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
    • GeForce RTX™ 4070 12GB Graphics Card
    • Corsair 3000D RGB Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case, Black
    • MSI 850W MAG PCIE5 Modular 80 Plus Gold Gaming ATX Power Supply
    • Windows® 11 Home

Wouldn't want to buy this only to find it chugging - as it'd be my fault entirely. The T-45 has the same recommended 3.5GHz CPU spec, and to be honest, I want the T-45 at least as bad as the F-14, and thankfully it too is on sale, so before I get either (likely both!) your thoughts on running any of Dino's lovely creations on the aforementioned system would be most appreciated.

    best regards,

    dl

You'll be fine. The X3D chip has more perf than the usual "3.4GHz" chip would. Go for it!

Fantastic shot! Just wonder at the crew being such relaxed...
    Best regards, Manfred.

    Hi delta_lima,

I'm running that CPU but with the RTX3080 12gb & have no issues with this F-14.

Go for it, you'll not regret it!

    Keith.

    Thanks @dennyA and @spacehippy1975!

That input is very much appreciated. It's great that all the IFE/HB MSFS products are on sale, as are the Miltech boats.
