I just finished watching The Shepherd on Disney. It won’t earn any awards, but oh it is a treat.

It's semi autobiographical..based on stories Frederick Forsyth heard and experiences while serving in RAF where he flew the DH Vampire.

Not quite the same ending as the book, but OK..
