Saw a teaser yesterday from DC Designs on FB for a forthcoming release by SC Designs of an F-5E.

That would be cool. I just might have to buy it.

The VC looks very good indeed. If the exterior is as good, I WILL buy it!

I wonder what happened to their A-10C?

Unquestionably a DAY ONE BUY for me...LOVE the F-5...would love a two seater as well, but that's probably pushing it....

Exciting (though not for my wallet lately!).

My understanding is that Asobo bought their A-10 (and rearmed it with a highly dangerous 30mm flashlight) for use in FS2024, and it's already appeared in the first trailer for the new sim.

Yap, things like dangerous flashlights killed my MSFS interest - job done!
    Best regards, Manfred.

Blackbird Sims did say they have plans to do the T-38 in MSFS, might be a little ways off though.

Looking forward to buzzing the Alps in a Swiss F-5E in the meantime.

No gun, no buy. Simple as that. I mean, the gun IS the A-10...

That is the biggest whitewash of an aircraft you could possibly have. What a complete load of BS. Not to hijack the thread, but seriously...No gun on the A-10, and replace it with a camera lens/light?? Total disrespect to the entire Hog Community, the CAS mission, and those who've been saved by the A-10 in combat. Asobo and MS need to rethink taking their policy to the next level of asinine.

Agreed...it's quite dogmatic and infuriating...but that is what they (MS/Asosbo) have bought into intellectually. The good news is, most developers who sell their products in the MS Store also offer patches or updates to their work to correct said problem...

BTW...VERY MUCH lusting for the F-5E (and again an -F in addition would be great...and with all due respect to the earlier poster, no, a T-38 isn't the same thing as an -F).

And with all due respect to yourself, I never said it was... but it is as close as you're likely to get.

Fallen-- Fair statement...My intent wasn't to get into a T4T with you on here...so your point is taken. FWIW--I'm a T-38 freak too, so I'd welcome that nearly as much as an -F!

    All the Best,

I thought the A-10 with a flashlight was made by Deimos ?

EVERYBODY who wants to sell any A-10 via MSFS has to use a flashlight....

But gents, seriously - this is hijacking a thread with other interest...
    Best regards, Manfred.

I too would love to see a T-38. However, I hope whoever makes it has an hidden AP. Every T-38 I have seen (and I help beta test some) has been too touchy in the pitch axis while cruising. I could never get the trim right. I would suddenly be 300 feet off altitude and have ATC screaming at me. (Actually, that may have been when I quit using ATC.) The real airplane was easy to trim to level flight and it stayed there for some time.

It's a fun jet to just simply fly around in DCS, so I can see this one being the same with an eye on the fuel gauges. Easy engine crank, taxi around with canopy open, then extend the nose strut and burners! I also hope we get all US based trainers to include the oldies we had in previous sims like the T-28 and T-34 series.

I wasn't interested to begin but the price point and potential of weapons being added has changed my tune!
