    Warwick Wozza Carter SNJ

Is the Warwick Carter SNJ compatible with P3DV5; Or has it been updated to do so?

Looking for the latest updated version.

    Thanks

Links from searches expires after some time. Just search here the registration of this repaint C-GBQB. It's a green camo paint an I like that one for this plane.

The plane works great in P3D5 and is comparable in quality to the A2A Texan, I have too. Warwick Carter did a great job. The pilot is stunning.

I changed the sound files to another one from a FS9 Texan I think. Sounds much better now.

I appreciate the link and also the reg number to look for

Is this the C-GBOB you mentioned? Reason I ask is the blue C-GBOB you listed had my search engine not finding anything. So I did a search on AVSIM
started with Warwick Carter Texan and a soon was able to see something that resembled that reg number. See link below. (Second entry down.)

    https://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=warwick+carter+texan&CatID=r oot&Go=Search

    Looks really nice. Thank you.

    Magneto switch

Is there a way to better illuminate the magneto switch. Unless there is a cockpit lighting switch I missed it looks dark.

Yes, it is the one. It's also here in the library.Light. There is a flashlight in P3D. You may have to assign a key for it in options, controls. It's called Flashlight Toggle. I have the space bar for it. I have no better solution, but maybe tune your monitor brighter. On my system it looks much brighter. This is depending on many factors, gpu, monitor, settings...Don't install planes in addons folder. That's only suitable for sceneries. Of course, you always can install a plane there and tell the sim on different ways, where planes are but don't make things more complicated for nothing. Planes go to airplanes.Sorry about the text without paragraphs. Something is weird in the editor here today.

    T-6 Sound

I took the sounds from FS9 fau363.zip available on AVSIM. Only use the sound. The plane is nothing for P3D5.

I see the magneto switch knob in John Terrell's livery is red and a little bit more noticeable to me. (N45CK)

I eventually found that file, Thank you. I also did a little exploring and noted that there was a FASA T-6 Racers Complete Package is a re-work of the original 'fsds' T-6 for FSX.
In it is a sound set that is not to bad. There is noticeable prop snarl when my chase plane goes from side to front of the aircraft; Which the real deal had going for it. I did a google search
for the R-1340 sound set and in some cases, it will be in another devs T-6 payware program. Some other R-1340 I think are suited for three bladed props.

Supposedly, there is a newer FDE that John Terrell (or someone) made and I'd be interested in checking that out but need to locate it. It may be in this library
not sure, I may check there and see.

Here is where you can get the fasa t6 racers

Unable to locate t6texmod.zip and fsds_t-6update.zip for the Wozza T-6 as recommended in link below:

    http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...iginal-Package

    t6texmod.zip at Flyaway: https://flyawaysimulation.com/downlo...-modification/

    fsds_t-6update.zip at flightsim.com: https://www.flightsim.com/files/file/142558-fsx-t-6g-texan-civilian-restoration/

    I
think, however, that you do not need fsds_t-6update.zip if you have downloaded v1.1 of the T-6 from the avsim link at the top of this thread. V1.1 incorporates the update. Perhaps John can confirm.

I was looking for that flashlight key and I discovered that pressing the backslash (\) key will bring up a flashlight in the cockpit at night. Pressing a 2nd time gives a red flashlight,
and the 3rd time switches it off. Nice!

All this time in P3D V5 and I just find out about this light, thanks Dan for the info. It was already assigned the (\) key.

Great you can use it now. I wonder, when it was introduced, since I know it for about two years now I guess.

My research indicates that it was one of many improvements when P3D V5 was originally released back in April 2020.
