Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that a FSX addon?

You are correct Cees. And it still is!

    https://vertigostudios.co.uk/shop/

As you can see it is currently on sale

    https://vertigostudios.co.uk/product/f6f-hellcat/

And as you can see Vertigo is still at the market, although they don't develop new models anymore.

    Cheers,

Yes it is a fsx add on, but there was an older version for fs2004 which is what I’m chasing

According to their website it was only ever developed for FSX. There are a few repaints around (Bruce Martin has a few at Flightsim and in the Library here) that are labelled FS2004 but they're .dds textures so NOT FS2004.

The CWDT F6F Hellcat is a very nice aircraft that has stood the test of time in FS2004, and there are lots of repaints. The package is available here at SOH: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...8946&catid=205

And the CWDT Hellcat originally was payware as well. Until Andrew C. Wai released it here at the Outhouse.

The freeware FSX conversion also works in P3D; panel options for FSX & P3D
