I have the -600 and -700 PMDG 737s and am looking to expand into the Airbus family for variety.
What would you folks say is the Airbus equivalent of the PMDG 737s? Fenix? I've heard conflicting things about the Fenix, good and bad. Something else?

The Fenix for sure. Other than that, the iniBuilds A310 would be your best bet.
Or you could try the FlyByWire A320. Probably the best freeware modern airliner available.

I very well may start with that FBW, free is a great price!
The Felix Sim hands down. It is a very nice model and there are some valid comparisons to the FSL version but the issues with the Fenix model is largely due to FS2020 limitations. There is a major update inbound and a series of planned improvements on the way. Hard to go wrong with it.
