Thread: New System Build

  1. #26

Still working on taming the RGB's, but running all quiet now after manually running pump at 100% for about 25 mins. Perhaps air bubble was trapped in system. Now waiting for some custom braided sleeves to finish cable management.

That is nice looking computer. Is that masssive brick in the center only the GPU or is there a cooler attached to the RTX 4090?

    that masssive brick

My thoughts entirely - I'd move it away from the wall for MSFS otherwise you'll scorch the paint!

    Hello,

The GeForce GPU has it's own air cooler consisting of three RGB fans underneath. I have yet to see all three operating at same time, most cases only the center one will spin up for a few seconds, then shut off. The O11D XL case is quite large and very heavy which makes it unpopular amongst current builds, but lots of interior space proves to be an advantage when airflow and cooling are concerned (although it doesn't show well in the pic, the case is about eight inches from the rear wall). I am sure MSFS will put things to the ultimate test.
