Wow! I didn't think we would see this. Many thanks Tango. That 75 should put some stress on the airframe.

Humm... maybe an 'H' is next?
And not to be a rivet counter, but didn't the 'G' only have two .50cal machine guns along with the 75mm cannon up front?
Take my love, take my land / Take me where I cannot stand, I don't care, I'm still free / You can't take the sky from me.
Take me out to the black / Tell 'em I ain't comin' back.
Burn the land and boil the sea / You can't take the sky from me...

RTB ...Blue Devil ...Out.
I did not want to ask for this version, because we should already be more than happy with the already done versions - BUT: The G-type with the shorter nose was definitely missing in our virtual heavens.
Thanks for filling this gap!!
We really have been spoilt by TR and Sopwith. Thanks so much gentlemen, I may have been a bit silent lately but Woohoo!

Well, yes and no. Originally the 75mm cannon was supplemented with just two .50 Browning machine guns in the nose but as combat experience proved the latter to be inadequate, two more nose guns were added. If I'm not mistaken these modifications to the existing B-25Gs were recommended by... yes you've guessed... Pappy Gunn and made at Townsville. I'm not sure but some B-25Gs may have been uparmed with even more guns in blister packs on fuselage sides.
I'm afraid that I was very, very drunk.
Thanks TR and SC!!
A B-25 with more pop..pop and boom for the PTO!!
Cheers,
O
