    Farman F60 Goliath from Redwing

Redwing's Farman F60 Goliath is on Marketplace. Looks really detailed, and I know you guys like period pilots and it delivers in that department! Anyone tried it? I'd likely have jumped in at $15-20, but $30 is a bit much for a plane I'd likely test fly for a session or two and then hangar-queen.

They did a great job with the Connie, though, so i'd love to hear impressions.

Go to their website and download the manual, there is a lot more than meets the eye with this.

Wow, just looked through the manual and this plane definitely earns its $30 price tag. Lots of cool stuff there now (airborne mail pickup with other 1935 airfields!) and coming (career mode).

Still not sure I'd fly a 65 knot cruiser enough to justify it, but the manual definitely makes it look interesting!

Wow, nearly a full study sim reading through the manual. The graphics look a bit cartoonish, but clearly a lot of work went into this. Reads that other versions are planned.

Grabbed it after seeing this thread last night. Only one quick flight so far. The only issue I had on that flight was that the default VC view puts you inside the pilot's head. You need to move the move the view a bit forward to see the gauges and control.
Very gentle flyer coming off the ground surprisingly quick for such a large aircraft. I like having at least one US texture and one good for flying the Caribbean.

Held my breath when I pressed the buy button. Huge amount of work went into this one. Lots of details. Looks better in the sim than the vendor's screen shots. Quick screen shot then off on a flight. The pilot seems to only appear in drone mode. Audio and prop disks are good. It does not like a lot of wind in flight. ;-)

nice shots, but it's not the prettiest aircraft now, is it?
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

Probably the Art Deco way of "form follows function"

I imagine the designer needed somewhere to start so he drew a trolley car then added wings.

picked her up today, my curiosity got the better of me!

Thankfully there's a lot to learn, and a very immersive experience thus far, I need to find locations with less wind so I can figure out how the bird behaves without much in the way of external forces
